Prepare to Proclaim!
For the third consecutive year, in 2011 Barnabas will be reaching out to one of the
slums in an Asian country. Poverty you have seen on TV is very different from reality,
and may shock you greatly.
The differences between rich and poor are staggering.
October is the best month for ministry as the temperature is then a bearable 25 degrees.
The conference will be at a Christian Centre in the mountains. With 50 local young
people the team will prepare for outreach in the big city. We especially want to
reach the young people. Every evening a big open-

We can take a maximum of 10 participants out to Asia. We work on a first
come first serve, so if you are interested please get in contact with us as soon
as possible.
Contrary to the events in Romania and Albania the group will not split up in different
outreach teams to different countries and area’s. Outreach actions will be done from
a central place from where we will send out small teams for street actions. We will
be working with several local churches at the same time. Because of the primitive
circumstances we will be working in it is essential to be in a good physical and
mental condition. It is also necessary to have a proactive and flexible attitude.
There is a lot of dust and smog in the air. There will be opportunities to visit
local attractions and shops.
Project
Because of the enormous poverty in the area, we will give some examples of
the help we might be able to give to these people. Any help is greatly appreciated
by both Christians and non-
